The 240 units of The Cloister at St. Henry (120 duplexes) were built in four phases from 1983-88 for active older adults. The complex is located between Highway 70S and Highway 100 behind St. Henry Catholic Church and School. At least one owner of a unit must be 55 years or more, and owners must live in units–no rentals allowed.
Units have two or three bedrooms, two complete bathrooms, attached garages (both one-car and two-car), and square footage from 1243 to 1628. Some units have small patios with privacy fences and others have decks. A few, built on hills, have basements, most of which have been finished out to some level. (See floor plans under the PUBLIC DOCUMENTS menu option.)
Amenities at The Cloister include a Clubhouse with many different planned activities, a heated outdoor swimming pool and several walking trails. Monthly maintenance fees provide basic cable TV, mowing and leaf removal, and common area maintenance and landscaping for Clubhouse, pool, entrances and parking islands.
